Saturday 4th July 2009

On the 4th May 2009 the Bishop of Bath and Wells, Peter Price, set out on a 330 mile walk to meet the people of his diocese. On the 4th July 2009, he completed his journey when he arrived at Glastonbury Abbey where a day of celebration was held to mark the 1100th anniversary of the Diocese of Bath and Wells with live music, talks, workshops, drama and more!
This was the major day of celebration for 1100 years of the Diocese of Bath and Wells, and the end point of Peter's Progress.

A DVD has been produced which gives a wonderful flavour of this once in a lifetime day and is available to buy online; click here to purchase your copy. The DVD, with commentary by Brian Pearson, is packaged in a transparent clamshell case and sent First Class by Royal Mail, direct from the production company.
