Sunday 21 June 2009

Bishop Peter walked the whole day. Many of the walkers started the day at the Benefice service at Henstridge where Bishop Peter preached.
Coffee was served after the service and then we set out for a walk down country lanes and across the flat fields of Henstridge Marsh.
Fortunately the crops and grass had already been harvested. We saw deer running across the open fields.
It was a typically pleasant Sunday outing with people and children of all ages joining parts of the walk.
And we finished with one of the steepest climbs up to Cucklington and a very welcome cup of tea in the Vicar's garden.
